Tickets Nascar – Jimmie Johnson wins third race of the 2010 season in Bristol

It was his first victory at Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee on 21 March but that does not mean Jimmie Johnson is a stranger to Victory. No. 48 took his act in full speed for the Food City 500 at the race this year, Bristol, crossing outside Tennessee track as one which emerged victorious in his career Cup Series.

Johnson's monumental victory in the Food City 500 was his third win of the season (only five runs total), launching him into third place in the standings behind Kevin Harvick No. 1 and No. 2 Matt Kenseth. Johnson continues to haunt the finest conductors Cup Series conquest early won five consecutive matches of the Championship Cup Series victories, and while he will be JJ back on top in no time.

At the March 21 Food City 500, Jimmie Johnson recorded a remarkable comeback win, Kurt Busch carried away by 278 of the 500 laps before he was kicked into high gear. Sitting in sixth place in the Bristol race with 17 laps left, Johnson took a chance on a restart Late to zoom past Greg Biffle, Matt Kenseth, Carl Edwards, Tony Stewart and Kurt Busch, firing from the sixth to first in just three laps – a amazing feat for an oval track. Finishing out the final 10 laps in first place, No. 48 took home the gold once again, running his previous 0-for-16 record in Tennessee.

After the race, Kurt Busch beat Jimmie Johnson calls his nemesis, telling ESPN, "I'd rather lose to any of the other 41 cars out there that the car 48. I thought we had beaten. I gave my heart today, but came up short. "Busch was running close to perfection, but could not fend off competition from more glorified when NASCAR came down to the finish line.

Food Johnson City 500 Bristol win was a great confidence booster for Hendrick Motorsports superstar, but also marked a significant achievement for the race stock car driver, too. Not only Bristol win was his first in the circuit, but the March 21 victory was also the 50th career victory for Johnson, putting him in a prestige class for drivers over Selected NASCAR.

Getting his fiftieth victory in 296 races, Jimmie Johnson became the fourth fastest ever accumulating 50 wins, sitting behind only Jeff Gordon (232), Darrell Waltrip (278) and David Pearson (293). While Jimmie Johnson off with a goal of winning its fifth straight planes Sprint Cup Series Championship in 2010, racing season has just begun. With Martinsville, Phoenix, Texas and Talladega in the near future to carry NASCAR in the month of May, No. 48 has a job cut out for him if he wants to stay on top of the pack. For now, Kevin Harvick and Matt Kenseth, who are the next targets of Johnson, and killed the next NASCAR make or break run of Johnson.
